On behalf of our client, a unique and luxury Car Dealership, Mayday Personnel are recruiting a skilled Service Technician for an immediate start. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday with ½ Saturday on a 1in3 rota. Location: Hedge End (SO30)

Position: Permanent

Salary dependent on experience:            Band 1 = £27,000 - £30,000

                                                                     Band 2 = £30,000 - £33,000

                                                                     Band 3 = £33,000 - £36,000

                                                                     + £12.50 p/h overtime after 8hrs on top of annual salary.

 

Duties include:

• Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.

• Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.

• Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.

• Providing support to less experienced colleagues.

• Attending regular training to update technical skills.

• Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others.

 

Skills and Experience:

• Must have the relevant qualifications (i.e. City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ etc.)

• Previous work experience in a franchise dealership

• Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Commitment to delivering first class customer service.

• Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
