About the Role
Mayday Personnel have an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, reputable business as a Warehouse Supervisor on a night shift based in the Southampton area of Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team with a great support structure for employees.
For this Warehouse Supervisor role this will be on a temporary to permanent basis, however they will consider offering a permanent full-time position for the right person!
Requirements
Duties:
Supervisory responsibilities, ensuring all team members are performing to the highest standards.
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Operate forklift trucks (both Counterbalance and Reach)
Manage materials handling processes, including sorting, stacking, and storing items.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, tracking inventory and producing invoices.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills:
Proven experience in supervisory or team leader position within a warehouse or similar environment
Confident using warehouse management and scanner systems
Proficient in operating forklift trucks; valid certification preferred or a drive to learn this skill
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Basic mathematical skills for measuring, counting, and recording quantities accurately
Excellent communication skills
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday
12am - 9am
Salary:
£32,000 - £35,000 per year (DOE)
