About the Role
Mayday Personnel is excited to be working with a reputable client who have a fantastic temporary to permanent full-time opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their fantastic team! This position is working on a twilight shift from Sunday to Thursdays. Our client is located in the Totton area of Hampshire.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for all Warehouse and Counterbalance Forklift duties, from picking and processing orders to unloading deliveries in a timely manner.
Requirements
Duties:
Picking and processing orders using pick sheets
Packing orders ready for dispatch
Using a Counterbalance Forklift when needed to assist with loading and unloading deliveries in a safe and timely manner
Checking paperwork
Quality checking orders
Working towards KPI targets per shift to ensure delivery deadlines are met
Highlighting any issues with orders/stock with the Warehouse Team Leaders
Highlight any improvements in operations and forward on suggestions to your line manager
Any other ad-hoc warehouse duties where needed
Key Skills:
Recent Warehouse experience is required
In-date Counterbalance Forklift licence with recent experience is required
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A good work ethic and attitude
Own transport preferred (due to location) or must live local to the Totton area
Pay:
£12.40 per hour

Free on-site parking
Job and finish!
Working Hours:
5.15pm to finish (finish times varies between 00:00 and 3am depending on workload)
Sunday to Thursday
