About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Service Technician and MOT Tester for our client, a well established Car Dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, along with the necessary qualifications to conduct MOT tests.
Requirements
Vehicle Servicing and Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicle systems.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
MOT Testing:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Record and report any defects or issues identified during MOT inspections.
Customer Interaction:
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through professional interactions and informative accurate cost estimations for repairs.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed, including inspection results and test outcomes.
Complete necessary paperwork for MOT tests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Accredited certification as a Vehicle Service Technician.
MOT Tester qualification accredited by an approved body.
Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent understanding of automotive systems and technology.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
