About the Role
Mayday Personnel are excited to be working with a well-established engineering business looking for a Trainee CAD Designer on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and successful running of the business. This Trainee CAD Designer role is available for someone to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
Duties:
Learning schematic drawings as per company standard while developing foundational skills in electrical panel design
Supporting the creation and updating of technical drawings
Assisting with electrical panel and schematic diagrams
Contributing to drawing revisions and change logs, ensuring all drawings are accurate
Working closely with the technician team
Completing multiple projects and their modifications within the pre-determined deadlines
Skills/Experience:
Practical experience of using CAD Software to create 2D drawings
Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical principles
Experience in producing electrical schematic drawings
Ability to meet deadlines
Good attention to detail
Experience in working in a small team
Qualifications:
T – Level (Level 3) Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
