Mayday Personnel is proud to be working with an established business with modern warehouse facilities based in Southampton, Hampshire who are looking to recruit multiple Warehouse Operatives for our client’s busy peak season! This is a temporary position ongoing until Christmas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking and packing orders in a timely manner, whilst maintaining accuracy, to ensure orders are boxed correctly and prepared for dispatch.
Requirements
Duties:
Packing orders according correctly and loading completed orders into cages ready for dispatch
Picking orders using scanners
Checking paperwork
Labelling and making up boxes
Quality checking orders prior to dispatch
Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times
Any other ad-hoc warehouse duties where needed
Key Skills/Experience:
Warehouse picking and packing experience (preferred, but full training given)
Must be happy to work Saturdays throughout September and some of October to meet business demands
Excellent attention to detail
A good work ethic and can do attitude
Excellent communication skills
Able to load completed orders of up to 20kg into the correct areas
Pay/Reward:
£12.71 per hour
Temporary ongoing work in the lead up to Christmas, with the potential of a permanent role if you get on well!

Overtime payments available for Saturday work (when required)
Working Hours:
8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
