Mayday Personnel is proud to be working with an reputable and friendly company based in the Fareham area of Hampshire, who are looking to recruit an Industrial Sewing Machinist on a temporary full time basis, with a view to become permanent after 12 weeks if you get on well!
Requirements
Key responsibilities:
Operate various industrial sewing machines in a busy manufacturing environment
Read and interpret technical drawings and/or patterns
Stitch and cut materials to meet the required specifications
Quality checking
Perform repairs, rework, and finishing on existing products
Maintain equipment, keep accurate production records, and uphold high standards
Key skills:
Recent Industrial Sewing Machinist experience is required
High attention to detail
Familiarity with leather, vinyl, and fabrics is required
Strong communication skills
Reward:
£14.00 per hour (rising to £14.50 per hour when you become permanent)
Temporary ongoing (with the chance to go permanent after 12 weeks if you get on well!)
Working hours:
Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:00 / Fridays 07:30-12:30
Overtime opportunities available on Friday afternoons during peak periods
