About the Role
Mayday Personnel is pleased to be working with an established company based on the outskirts of Totton, Hampshire. Our client is looking to recruit a Digital Print Operator to join their friendly accredited team.
The role is paying between £24,000 to £26,000 per year depending on the level of experience. The working hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.
The role would suit someone who is computer literate with experience in using Adobe Illustrator, along with being detail-orientated and a keen interest or experience within graphics/design work.
The successful applicants should be able to work on their own initiative and be happy to work in a small team.
Requirements
Duties:
Operating and monitoring wide format digital printing equipment including laminators, printers and plotting machines
Preparing and setting up printing jobs by loading materials, adjusting print settings and ensuring the correct calibration of equipment
Working closely with the team to schedule and prioritise print jobs, ensuring deadlines are met and production schedules are maintained
Conducting regular quality checks during the printing process to ensure colour accuracy, print clarity and overall print quality
Maintaining accurate records of print jobs, consumables and material usage
Identifying and troubleshooting issues with the printing equipment and liaise with the relevant parties to resolve any issues promptly
Perform routine maintenance on digital printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
Skills:
Computer literate with experience in using Adobe Illustrator is required
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication skills
