About the Role
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and continuous learning? Mayday Personnel are looking for a Skilled CNC Program Setter/Operator for our client on a temporary ongoing basis with a view to becoming permanent after 12 weeks if you get on well! Our client is a leading tool manufacturing company known for quality and innovation, based close to the Totton area of Hampshire.
Requirements
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for setting, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Working with Mazak and Fanuc controls, you’ll interpret schematic drawings, maintain tight tolerances, and ensure every part meets our clients' exact standards.
Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC machines (Mazak and Fanuc controls)
Read and interpret schematic drawings with extreme attention to detail.
Inspect and measure components for accuracy and quality
Learn and operate new machinery as required
Requirements:
Proven experience with Mazak and Fanuc CNC controls is required
Strong understanding of schematic/technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Willingness to learn and operate new machines and skills
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm & Fridays: 8am - 12 midday.
