About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing and progressive retailer. As the Stores and Replenishment Manager, you will play a key role in the developing logistics department and contribute to the business' supply chain efficiency. Reporting to the Operations Manager and collaborating with the Purchasing and Retail teams, you will lead a small warehouse team in a role that is critical to the success of the business.

 

Specific Job Role and Responsibilities

Warehousing

• Issue pick lists to warehouse teams and suppliers

• Organize a mixed-product warehouse and cold stores

• Maintain planograms and a tidy mailbox

• Manage stock takes and ensure accurate reporting

• Oversee frozen and ambient deliveries to a high standard

• Ensure product rotation and loss minimization

• Maintain Health and Safety standards

• Welcome Trading Standards visits and implement suggested actions

• Keep track of cold store servicing and fire drill records

Production

• Manage in-house label and barcode production

• Organize the breakdown of bulk stocks into smaller quantities

• Ensure minimal label wastage

Replenishment Support

• Ensure sufficient stock is ready for store replenishment teams

 

Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook

• Experience with Zebra handheld devices or similar

• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills

• Strong work ethic and a positive approach

• Ability to work efficiently in a cold store environment

• Genuine interest in logistics and supply chain

• Full clean driving license; may be required to drive a 3.5t lorry
