Telesales/ Telemarketer

Location: Romsey SO51

Position: Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Salary: £20 – 22K p/a DOE (Potential OTE £50 – 55K in 1st year)

Our client in Romsey, is a leading supplier of office technology, supplies and furniture and we are recruiting for an experienced telemarketer to join their well-established sales team, delivering extremely high levels of customer service.

The successful candidate will need to have previous sales experience, with a good sense of humour, team player with a good work ethic.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Dialling up to 60 calls a day from a database – including cold calls

• Adding to and updating Company database

• Research and fact finding, various companies/contacts in the area

• Booking of appointments for Sales Directors

• Upselling of company products and terms

• When required some face to face sales

• Leaflet drops/sales canvassing locally

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience within a similar role essential

• Must be highly motivated, with a driven personality

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
